GreenCity RP launches its second server

GreenCity RP has been running at or near capacity for most of 2026. Peak evenings regularly hit the 214-player ceiling with a queue forming behind it. Rather than raise the hard cap and risk degrading the experience for everyone already in the server, the team chose to open a second instance with its own economy and a schedule built around North American time zones.

A separate economy

GreenCity RP #2 starts with a clean in-server economy. Existing players from #1 carry their forum accounts and GreenCoins, but in-server money, property ownership and business inventory all begin fresh on the new instance. This was a deliberate decision: the wealth gap between long-term and new players on #1 made late joining genuinely difficult. Starting from scratch on #2 gives incoming players equal footing. The two economies will remain separate indefinitely.

New factions and opening storylines

The #2 launch introduces three faction starts that were not part of the original server setup. An independent transport guild, a corrupt city planning office, and a gang that operates through legitimate front businesses are all seeded into the opening week. Staff roleplay characters will be active at peak hours to drive storylines forward and give new players someone to engage with from day one.

NA-friendly scheduling

Staff-run events on GreenCity RP #1 have historically landed between 18:00 and 22:00 Central European Time, which falls mid-afternoon for most North American players. On #2, the event calendar is anchored to 20:00 to midnight Eastern, placing the active window in prime evening hours for East Coast and Central US players. The server runs 24 hours and EU players are welcome. The event schedule is simply tuned differently.

How to join

GreenCity RP #2 uses the same whitelist process as the original server. Submit an application through the FiveM section of the forum, read the server rules carefully, and wait for a review from the moderation team. Approved applicants receive a Discord role and a connection link. Given the opening demand, applications are being processed in batches of 50 to keep the first weeks manageable and well-staffed.
