Privacy Policy

Who we are

Greens Gaming is a volunteer-operated GTA multiplayer network that has been running since 2008. We operate game servers for MTA:SA and FiveM, a community website at greensgaming.net, and a Discord server. This policy explains what information we collect when you use any of these services and how we use it.

Affiliation notice: Greens Gaming is an independent community and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any of their subsidiaries.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service. Here is what that means in practice:

• Account information: username, email address, and a hashed password when you register.
• Gameplay data: statistics like kills, wins, playtime, and GreenCoin balances tied to your account.
• Connection data: your IP address is logged when you connect to our servers. This is used for moderation and anti-cheat purposes only.
• Payment data: if you purchase GreenCoins, payment is processed by our payment provider. We receive a transaction ID and amount only, never your card details.
• Contact messages: if you email us or use the contact form, we retain the message to respond to it and maintain a support history.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Run and maintain your account and player profile.
• Calculate leaderboards, rankings, and player statistics.
• Enforce the community rules and investigate ban appeals.
• Send transactional emails (password resets, purchase confirmations). We do not send marketing emails.
• Improve the network through aggregate, anonymised usage data.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever. We share information only in these situations:

• With our hosting provider and payment processor to keep the service running.
• With law enforcement if required by applicable law or a valid legal order.
• Public player profiles (username, rank, stats) are visible to other players on the site by default. You can request a profile to be set private by contacting support.

Cookies and tracking

The website uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or analytics beyond basic server-side request logs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA, including:

• The right to access a copy of the data we hold about you.
• The right to correct inaccurate data.
• The right to request deletion of your account and personal data.
• The right to object to certain types of processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@greensgaming.net with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, retaining only anonymised aggregate statistics and any data we are legally required to keep (such as transaction records).

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has an account should contact us immediately at support@greensgaming.net.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we will post a notice in our Discord and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
