Dropping my full tune for the Sultan RS ahead of the championship qualifiers. The goal here is a setup that holds up across different track types rather than one that is dialled purely for a single circuit. After the 9.4 handling pass the curve feels noticeably different at the limit, so the old meta setups deserve a revisit.
For the Sultan RS I am running max engine, turbo, full rear spoiler, and sport suspension at 35 percent compression. Transmission set to sport, weight distribution 45 front 55 rear. I run with neons off in competitive play because the cosmetic adds a marginal weight penalty that compounds over a long race. With this tune I am consistently hitting sub-2:04 on Chiliad Sprint and holding second gear cleanly through the tunnel section without losing rear grip.
If you are running a different chassis, post your tune here with the track you tested on and your personal best. Particularly curious what the Turismo and Banshee crowds are running after the handling revision. I will compile everything into a pinned community setup document before the first qualifier opens on July 5th.

Turismo post-patch: max engine, sport suspension at 40 front and 42 rear, lightweight body kit but keeping the front bumper for contact protection in pack racing. Hitting 2:08 on Chiliad Sprint. Lost maybe 0.8 seconds to the Sultan in raw pace but handles cleaner in traffic, which matters in the championship format.

Anyone still running the Infernus competitively? I saw one win a qualifier last season but have not seen a current setup shared anywhere. It feels soft after the patch but maybe I am missing something in the tuning.

One technique almost nobody documents: map gear shifts to paddles and practice the mountain base chicane with manual shifting only. Takes two sessions to feel natural and consistently drops a full second from the automatic run.
